Way way way in excess of your needs for a gaming PC with one decent GPU.
You could work with half of the wattage this is rated for.
So why not save $30-$70 and get a good 650, 700, 750, or 850 Watt unit.
Look up the PSU tier list on the linus tech tips web site, there's a document / spread sheet.
Get something Tier A or Tier B with decent reviews and you'll be fine.
Get a modular one (cables that unplug from the PSU) for maybe easier building YMMV.

I've used Corsair, Antec, EVGA units of such qualities in the past and presently no trouble, there
are others Seasonic, etc. with good ratings.

I have a 3070 running in a system with a Corsair 850 for instance and even that is overkill,
650-750 would work unless there is something really excessive / extreme about the rest of the PC.
Even dual GPU could be fine with an 850.

The new 4090s are going to use 500 watts alone. Maybe some people are going to need more than a 700

Doubt you're gonna be able to use the "10 year warranty" in 2-3 years. Lol. EVGA is going out of business. Better off with SeaSonic or Corsair.

You don't need this much PSU for that, spend half the money and get a 850w. Also, anecdotal but the only EVGA PSUs I have had fail are GT models. Of the 6-7 EVGA PSUs I currently own, 2 are dead GTs.
