Yea the absolute is the one with the fluffy (hardwood) and the normal torque (carpet)

Great deal since the fluffy head attachment alone costs $100+ and this is also sold through Dyson and not a reseller. Only downside is shorter warranty (6 months) but may be worth it for the cost savings. I got a new one about a year ago and actually don't mind vacuuming now.

Looks like you can still purchase it, but cannot do a "scheduled" delivery.

I just means you can schedule a time for delivery. FedEx/UPS will just deliver on their regular route.

Is it worth returning a $300 v8 absolute to get this one? Doesn't seem much different but trying to future proof the purchase as much as possible. But then again the refurbishment might reduce its potential life span

Looks like an awesome deal but it looks like it has the older attachments. The new ones come with the Motorbar™ cleaner head (for hair) and hair screw tool.

Do you guys have any experience with the fluffy head and high torque head when it comes to hair cleaning?
