I feel like everything leaks these days. I don't get it
I am not sure about that. Have you tried Harbor Freight? Years ago they had coupons to get them for free. I had them in drawer and my house stays around 40 to 50% humidity year round. In less than a month they were leaking in an unopened package and I had to throw them all away. They were not worth free.

Of course they don't have any in stock at any of the Walgreens stores anywhere around me.

Oh well, better to tell me now than accept my order and cancel it 9 minutes later.

That's about been my experience. I complained to the company & all I got out of it was $ off coupons for more Ray-O-Vacs. I bought a goodly number of packs perhaps 2-3+ years ago at Walmart via SD at a nice discount, AA & AAA, & problems with all, moreso w/ AA. Leave 'em be.

Please stop buying alkaline batteries. Rechargeable versions of every common battery type are available and getting cheaper all the time. The only use for these should be putting in an emergency flashlight and leaving them somewhere for several years, where a rechargeable would self-discharge.

...and leak. Lol

Everything in my house hates rechargeable batteries. I was changing thermostat batteries monthly instead of once a year.

And wifey can't tell the difference between rechargeable and disposable. One year she trashed about $40 worth.
