JetBlue Plus Credit Card BONUS OFFER: $0 intro annual fee plus spend $1K in 3 months get 80,000 which are worth as much as $1,500 in travel benefits

From NerdWallet: JetBlue points are worth 1.5 cents each which is a baseline value, drawn from real-world data on hundreds of economy routes, not a maximized value. When you pay for your travel with the JetBlue Plus Card, you'll get the first checked bag free for you and up to three travel companions. Without the card, your first checked bag would cost $35, so that's a one-way savings of $140 if you each checked one bag. If your journey is round-trip, that savings multiplies to $280. If your family of four takes two roundtrip JetBlue flights each year that adds up to savings of $560.

After the first year you can keep the points and cancel the card, downgrade to JetBlue Card or pay $99 annual fee and get 5,000 anniversary bonus points (worth $75 in JetBlue travel).

Deal seems to be working fine with any five digits in the promo box on the right top corner of the application, however, here is a code from a JetBlue Flight: 26213
Also, WillP4807 has posted a code but not sure if that too is from a JetBlue Flight. Code: 29191

JetBlue points don't have any cash value and can only be used for travelling by JetBlue. For those who travel by JetBlue, getting as much as $1,500 of airfare benefits for free in a no brainer. However, this offer is not for those who do not fly JetBlue.
Do you have to be a special member to travel by jetblue? It'll be my first time in years travelling with anyone but AA and I've never been on a jetblue but I just got 80k in points from the offer and some flights to other countries are only 33k pts total so does that mean I'd have enough left over for more flights? and can I only redeem for myself and not a companion?

yes that means you will have 43K points left.. i believe if you start a family pool with your companion on the website you can share points and buy flights together with points

It is first time for me to see anyone factoring checked baggage as a real benefit. Is it all the time for other airline credit cards to get that benefit? Anything unique about this?

the unique thing about this is that jetblue will allow you to check up to 4 bags (one per person) for free when paid with this card and booked all together. jetblue being a low cost carrier and not a major airline like american and delta, its a pretty big deal now that just about all low cost airlines charge for checked and carry on bags.

Not getting any card with an annual fee. To pay to spend your own money is moronic.

Some cards give you back more though. This one particular covers all your first checked bag fee and gives you $100 jetblue vacation credit every calendar year and 5000 points bonus which is equivalent to $50 in credit. That's well worth $99 to me

Some say you can get the free bag by having this credit card without using it for the purchase. Hypothetically can you pay with chase reserve and still get the free bag by having the jetblue card?

50k points and $100 credit is not too shabby.

Doesn't look like they put out a promotion yet right? Over 1 year later still at 50k.
