I brought it on April 2021, it works ok, but you have to use their phone app to setup and control everything, the web panel basically useless. And there is no firmware update since 01/21/2021, if you care about the firmware update and force use phone apps, then you should skip it.
Incorrect they allow you to port forward, here is the guide on it.

Yes you can mix and match and it works very well, you just need to make sure you connect the x60 to the modem directly and keep them on the inside and you need to put the x20's on the fringe or outer part of the network so they dont bottleneck the x60's.
Unless you have a symmetrical internet plan you would not have high upload at all. Most cable providers only provide 5 or 10Mbps of upload, fiber providers offer symmetrical internet plans and then your going to have 100/100 500/500 1000/1000 or whatever plan you have from the fiber provider.

if i'm not mistaken, there's also no option to port forward if you have a need for that right?

I've always read that you can mix and match. Never tried it though.

This supports port forwarding. It's under Advanced router settings on the deco app.

If you're using it for gaming, I've had some trouble using it as a router and running an ethernet cable from the "router" to my Xbox. For some reason, probably my inexperience, the console doesn't connect to the internet when i simply plug in the ethernet cable.

the X60 only has Gigabit ports. If you're after 2.5GbE, look into the X75 Pro or X90.

lots of TP-Link stuff is on sale right now, and some items have coupon codes for Amazon listed on the manufacturer website. I just ordered the X75 Pro and there was a 15% off code available.

I had this set for few months but returned it yesterday to Costco. Coverage and signal is one of the best mesh system. However I had issues with some websites not loading. Reset a couple of time and still have same problem. Support is almost non existent . However it is a good price.

Is this triband i.e. does it have a dedicated wireless channel for node to node backhaul? Or does the node to node communication happen over the regular wifi channel?

Is it true that you are forced to use the phone app to set features?

I'm looking for something with a web GUI
