Hopefully they will release another episode or DLC of some kind - I saw the the reports indicating otherwise but if there's enough interest maybe it will persuade the developer/publisher team.
The local co-op/multiplayer features are great for playing with friends and family.

I've bought both and recommend Shredders Revenge by a narrow margin.
However it will very much depend on your own preference/reasons for buying the game. As others have noted, Shredders Revenge isn't a very long game and you likely will have beaten the game and found everything within 5 hours or less. In my opinion many of the games in the Cowabunga Collection haven't aged very well, but it certainly has more content overall than Shredders Revenge if you're looking for a game to spend more time playing.

Do I go with this, or the Cowabunga collection though? Or should I just get both?
