Deal expired already. Good I got in, right on time. Hopefully it arrives. It's really slick deal.
I'm not sure what for people use heatgun normally, I already have one. I used it few times only to fix my 2011 macbook pro. It had a known issue with graphics card. One of the fix from online was to heat the processors with heat gun. Surprisingly it worked. But the issue came back after few months. Again I gave the same heat treatment to fix it. It went on for sometime until I became greedy and heated it too much than usual, and burnt it forever, chapter closed for that macbook pro.

I use my existing heat gun when...
  • soldering and using heat shrink / wrap tubing
  • bending PVC (wear a respirator - it's nasty)
  • Making tombstones for Halloween - you can get a concrete effect on foam board (I still have yet to do this but plan on doing so this week)
