FYI they will come in some pretty crappy packaging, but I stopped caring about the packaging as soon as they were connected.
I use these during Ketamine treatments for ptsd where any outside noise can be really disturbing, so noise canceling is massively important, and these block out a ton. Not 100% (none do) but so much that it's a "wow" every time I'm in a noisy place (recently an airplane with a crying baby 1 seat ahead) and activate noise canceling.
Also, I used to use the Sony xm4 headphones, but had a problem where they stopped charging. Dealing with Allstate/Squaretrade was a piece of cake. They refunded every penny after two years of consyant use within a week of sending them in for repair.
In short, I'd buy these again in a heartbeat.

I buy earbuds mainly for music so don't care about noise cancelling, etc. I hope these Sony's are a "oh my God!" good set so I can send back the Samsungs. I do like the fact that the Samsungs have a easy to open case (Jabra!!) and is small, Bluetooth range is great and comfy in the ears.

My jabra headphones that I've had longer still have great battery life. Maybe I got a dud.
No one ever mentioned which phone they use as reference when commenting on these buds. Each phone model has its different codecs and Bluetooth version. I have Samsung S22 Ultra pairing with Samsung Buds Pro and I find them awesome for my use. Memory foam eartips do make better noise cancelation compared to included silicon eartips.

My usage is for 2-5 hours flight or other long transportation. I feel my ear seriously hurt after 1 or 2 hours use on AirPods Pro. So I'm thinking about to get a XM4 or Bose QC earbuds.
