These earbuds are incredibly good. When I ordered from Secondipity a few months ago they were about $115 and I have LOVED them.

FYI they will come in some pretty crappy packaging, but I stopped caring about the packaging as soon as they were connected.

I use these during Ketamine treatments for ptsd where any outside noise can be really disturbing, so noise canceling is massively important, and these block out a ton. Not 100% (none do) but so much that it's a "wow" every time I'm in a noisy place (recently an airplane with a crying baby 1 seat ahead) and activate noise canceling.

Also, I used to use the Sony xm4 headphones, but had a problem where they stopped charging. Dealing with Allstate/Squaretrade was a piece of cake. They refunded every penny after two years of consyant use within a week of sending them in for repair.

In short, I'd buy these again in a heartbeat.

The M4's are better than the 3's, they are more comfortable and the original ear tips are better than the M3's and even better than comply tips in my opinion. The M4's are my daily, I got the spigen case and use a #2 S beaner clipped to my belt loop and have never lost or misplaced them. The only thing better is over the ear headphones so for my use at work, errands, and around the house these are awesome. If you don't like them there is still a 30 day return window (but you pay shipping). I bet you won't return them tho.

Excuse me. Which one is more comfortable between Sony and Bose? I'm debating to get which one. Mostly for 2-5 hours transportation. My AirPods are extremely uncomfortable for long time use. Thanks.
They're both pretty similar. They're both fairly comfortable, and I think it depends a bit on your ears.

I tried Airpod Pro (1st gen) and I couldn't stand them for more than 30 minutes because it hurt where it pressed against my ears but my wife doesn't seem to mind them at all.

Will wait until it is $85 again, probably BF.
That was "used", not "refurbished".

Huge difference. SDers in the $85 used thread were complaining of nasty ear wax and used ear tips. Refurbished is essentially "like new" condition and comes with brand near eartips, My refurb'd XM3s from this same seller didn't have a single particle of dust or any signs of use on it anywhere.

Too big and case is humongous. ANC is not so great.
Go with pixel buds pro or Apple ear pods pro 2... Yes, they are new and no deals but this one you won't be happy.
There's only a few models that surpass these in terms of ANC, and they're all newer - iirc Bose quietcomfort ii and AirPods Pro 2. Plenty of graphs out there from professional reviewers that prove just how effective the ANC is… if you aren't just trolling, then you definitely need to figure out how to insert them properly if the ANC is genuinely that subpar for you, because there's no way it actually is

I've had these for about half a year now. Purchased from Secondipity as well. If you're on the fence just clean them with rubbing alcohol and switch out the tips. I bought new foam and rubber tips to switch between when I want to quickly put them on (rubber) vs when I want to maximize sound isolation (foam). The biggest selling point for the headphones IMHO is LDAC support.

Gotta link for some foam tips? Tia!

I like how every comment here says "I got the last one", crazy how effective marketing is. Scarcity bias is real and works wonders to close that sale.

Lots of ppl seem to like Comply. I have those and they work well. They do hurt my ear after a bit though, but don't let my experience deter you from purchasing them. IMHO something like foam tips are somewhat disposable. Maybe even try a few brands?

Thanks. Just found out that the XM3 tips also fit. I have a bunch of tips for that one so I think I'm golden.

One complaint is that the volume is reset to middle when it's out of the case and reconnected to the iPhone. It's too loud at that level.

I have had the XM3 and now the XM4 for a while. I love these and am debating getting another pair.

I just got them, and they look like new. The noise cancelling is pretty good. The only problem I see is the ear tips are consumable, and if I need to change them every month and they cost 5 dollars, the cost goes up so it may be better to just get the air pod pro 2 for better noise cancelling. I am still using Bose qc20 for 2 years, and have never changed the ear tip, and they are completely fine

Edited
I found some old silicone tips, and they fit. Sound was a bit unacceptable, so I cut up some earplugs to fill up the inner part of the ear tips, and it is good enough now.

Just bought a pair but also just recently bought a refurb set of the Samsung Galaxy buds pro for like $48, the Samsung's sound good but not "oh my God!" good, my cheaper Xiaomi's or Fiil (forgot what Chinese brand) sound probably just as good or better.

I buy earbuds mainly for music so don't care about noise cancelling, etc. I hope these Sony's are a "oh my God!" good set so I can send back the Samsungs. I do like the fact that the Samsungs have a easy to open case (Jabra!!) and is small, Bluetooth range is great and comfy in the ears.
I would love to hear how these sound compared to the fiil earbuds. I have been wanting to upgrade but the fiils are amazing and I haven't found much better.
