I know Apple is rumored to be launching an update. But $649 with no tax seems like a good deal. Don't really care for the M2 on the new one. Plus, it seems Mini-LEDs aren't coming to the 11" anytime soon.

Do people think this is a good deal?

new ipads supposed to be biggest upgrade in 10 years. I'm definitely waiting!

Do you mean the base iPad has big upgrades coming? Yes the m2 iPad Pro is expected to have small upgrades. Apparently they aren't giving the 11" mini led because the screen is too small. It's a hard call to get the m1 iPad Pro over a good sale on the m1 iPad Air. Off the top of my head iPad Pro has faceid, better camera, 120hz refresh, maybe more ram/storage?

I would steer clear of the iPad Air w/m1. Just google it and "design flaw". Tons of people complaining

iPad Air's lack of 128GB option is the dealbreaker for me (and likely most people - 64GB option sucks) . This means the iPad Pro 128GB is the better option vs IPad Air 256GB at a similar price.
