I love my Meater+, but finally broke after 1.5 years of uses (about 30 cooks). The black ambient piece pulled away when I removed the probe from the steak. I was going to buy another Meater+ and stumbled this on Amazon. There are plenty of Meater+ vs MeatStick comparisons on youtube. I'm giving this a try because the built quality may be better.

MeatStick has different verisons for different type of cooks. They really stepping it up with different features too vs meater that hasn't really done much since they came out. Also the range is sooo much better on the MeatStick.
