First time using Instacart and was really surprise I can order heavy stuff and have them delivered within a couple of hours. Lowes would have charged me $80something to have these bags deliver tomorrow, not within a couple of hours.
I'm sold using Instacart now knowing I can order anything heavy up to 50lbs to deliver to my door.
I felt a little guilty so I gave her an extra $10 for tips.
i don't see how this person made a mistake but I'm guessing it's not a promo error but rather an error because the coupon was used up so quickly.
If you don't believe me try it for yourself. Make an order and remove modify it before it's shopped. Your promo goes away. Make an order and don't modify it but ask the shopper to refund an item (it's the same thing as the shopper marking it out of stock) and it has no affect on your discount;.
I just used the $25 off 65 discount at staples doing this by asking the shopper to refund an item.
I literally just paid full price for instacart premium so I could exclusively abuse these promotions they send weekly. It's honestly been about 10 weeks without good coupons.
I abuse the doordash ones too like the 50% off at bed bath and beyond, 50% off at dick's, etc. by ordering out of stock items

Once the order confirmation shows the coupon, I have not experienced any issues once the order is fulfilled. Just make sure you don't make changes to the order. Otherwise the coupon will disappear again. It's ok for the shopper to refund items, the coupon still sticks. Good luck!

Shoppers refunding items is always the way to go. You can even deliberately order items and ask the shopper to refund to increase your discount. Just don't do it too often as they probably save the chat logs.
