I ended up getting a sofa table from Sam's Club for $350. I needed the ports on the left side and prefer the three outlets (for three people sitting with laptops) over Costco's right ports and two outlets.

In addition, the Sam's Club table is wider vs Costco's

The Sam's Club design also matches my sofa setup better (Dark wood vs light grey).

You have over more people than you have available seating. You want a way to increase seating without having a lot of bulky chairs. That's the need.



It's meant for behind the sofa. Hence the name "sofa table". If your sofa isn't against the wall you can throw this behind it and increase the available seating in your living room.

Bought in store for $470. I re-painted some part to white so it doesn't look too vintage farmhouse style. Overall it is solid in quality. Easy to put together.

We have this same item set behind our (also Costco-purchased) sectional.
It makes a handy place to eat or work on laptop while watching TV. The 3 stools make it a bit cramped, so we put one in storage and just use two stools.

Purchased one of these 2 years ago. Everyone was battling to sit there to watch games we bought a second one. We don't eat or drink while sitting on the sectional so this is ideal. Like a sports bar at home.

For getting solid wood, not MDF, makes this pretty nice. Personally, it's not very wide and the 3 benches make for this to be a bit cramped. They had this at my local store and I have wanted to get a good sofa table, but the reason I wasn't excited as much about this one is mainly because it's really more seating for like 2.5, than for 3, so really just 2.. There are other sofa tables that are an extra foot wider for not too much difference in price and would probably be better, just my opinion.

If you have a really large living room set, I've even seen some 4 seaters.

I know some people think they are tacky, but they are actually awesome because the way most "great rooms" are situated, sitting at the kitchen island/bar to eat you are faced away from the TV. This is a great way to be sitting facing the TV in addition to island seating.

IIRC, I purchased for $450 at local warehouse and thought it was already a good deal. Solid unit and been a favorite for kids and guests. $350 if you can locate at your local warehouse is a heck of a deal.

Got one near my house for this price yesterday. We have a connected kitchen/dining/family room area and this will sit directly behind the couch. Gives me 3 more spaces for large gatherings! Tables like this are more expensive online and not all have stools as well! Now my wife can do her puzzles while watching whatever it is she does... Great price!!

Was going to pick this up 2 weeks at at $479 but truck was full with all the groceries. Went back this weekend and pick this up at $350. Perfectly fits behind my gray sectional. Comes with 3 USB A ports and 2 3 prong outlet. Cable to the wall is fairly long too. The chairs cushion are firm and good height. It comes with Allen key to screw the bolts in. That's assembly of the table is a pain because of where the bolts goes in, it's at an angle where the Allen key can only do half a turn. Aside from that, it's a good deal.

Yes, Costco usually will refund differences in price if they happen within 30 days. I have done this many times.

In fact, I just recently purchase 2xPergolas that were $3200 each, and they just went on sale $600 off like a week later, so they refunded me $1200 on the 2 purchases. So yes, they will.

Not sure how your Costco setup is, but they wouldn't do it at normal customer service or returns desk, but there is a cashier that is not a normal cashier at the front of the store that is by the Ice Bags and at that register is where they will refund the difference. I don't know if this is true, but I hear you need to do it at the same store you made the purchase for this specific refund though. Just what I heard. You also have to have the original receipt, otherwise they will make you return the item and re-purchase. Not sure why. I suspect they are just trying to make the refund process something of a hassle to keep some people from bothering.
