I feel like sony is indirectly raising the price by just offering this bundle and not the standalone console. The standalone console hasn't been in stock for a while.

They totally did. I thought US was exempt from the price increase, but as you said non-bundles aren't being sold anymore. They told the rest of the world of the 50.00 price increase, but knew US would be outraged. So they forced this bundle on us.

I wouldn't say "easy" as they go out of stock quickly.

The digital copy wasn't in stock when I posted the deal. Thanks for sharing.

I'm seeing these stocked in multiple Walmarts and the digital version. I'm puzzled to see if they're still as hard to find. Also the Xbox x. Thought of buying just to have around for close friends during the holidays so they won't buy scalped.

Yep! I can't justify $50 more for no reason. Even if it was an kick ass game like HFW or GoW. Its an increase no matter how you put it. You can tell they don't plan too either. Because if you look at the Sony PlayStation Direct site. You can look at the boxes for the standalone and for the bundle. The standalone has the original model number CFI-1000, Compared to CFI-1115 on the newer model. Which doesn't mean much, but its still a much newer model.

Also one of the YouTubers was saying Sony is only going to make the digital only available for sale and sell the disc drive separately as well as the side plates so an indirect raise in price
