I feel like sony is indirectly raising the price by just offering this bundle and not the standalone console. The standalone console hasn't been in stock for a while.

They totally did. I thought US was exempt from the price increase, but as you said non-bundles aren't being sold anymore. They told the rest of the world of the 50.00 price increase, but knew US would be outraged. So they forced this bundle on us.

I wouldn't say "easy" as they go out of stock quickly.

The digital copy wasn't in stock when I posted the deal. Thanks for sharing.

There was no reason to get a PS5/Xbox Series X the past two years. No games have yet be true next gen, only ports and multigens. And $500 is too much just to play last generation games faster.

I would agree, tbh I only recently purchased mine and I still don't really have a reason to justify it. I did want to get it before GoW 2 2022 came out for best visuals and frame rate but I would've been okay using my ps4 for it.

Pretty sad the state of gaming with the constant remakes of older games and very limited ingenuity. Maybe it's always been this slow though and my child mind was okay with constantly replaying the same game.

Good deal but not worth it as the PS5 isn't upgraded design wise. I would've expected the side panels to have some forbidden west art.

This is, of course, true, but I fail to see why we're bickering over the use of the word. With due respect, the comment wasn't intended to imply that a PS5 was required for survival, but rather that one might need one to accomplish some other goal (providing a gift, etc.). It's a fairly common use of the word in casual dialogue.

Great deal.. I was able to jump on one.. first off you can't buy a PS5 directly from a retailer that has stock.. secondly the game in itself is a steal.. it is retailing for $100 digital copy currently..
