Series 6,7,8, and the new SE2 all use the same processor regardless of calling it something different each gen.. Original SE is only 20% slower.
Coming from a Series 3, the SE1 is a MASSIVE upgrade.

Edit: I used the chat link "Best Buy Chat" from this page [bestbuy.com] instead of the bottom pop-up. I tried like 3-4 times via pop-up and was told no. Also no from Target.
