They should be able to shut down the stores for not allowing the promotions I'm tired of seeing these promos and the stores won't honor them the subway franchise should have to require them to accept or be taken away there rights to have ownership of the franchise I don't want to hear how much business they lose to the promos they already use scraps for food wrapped up in wax paper ready to be served .
I went to subway for the first time I'm years a month ago. I paid 8.99 for a sub and was royally pissed off when I got done eating it. Not worth it. Been making my own at home that are much better.

I'm not saying I don't care about employee well-being... I do, very much actually. So much so that I want the corporations employing them to stop guilt-tripping me for extra cash and instead focus on paying their employees a liveable wage. I don't see why that makes me the bad guy?
I didn't say it makes you bad. You could be the nicest guy in your zip code. I just know it means a lot of many of these low wage employees when people give a little extra.
I was abusing the crap out of this code for months before my local Subway finally ditched both variations (FOOTLONG599 and 599FOOTLONG). Sometimes one worked, then the other worked...and then some time this summer, both codes stopped working and I was sad. I will never pay full price for subway food, but to get one of the new Subway Series sandwiches for $6 is pretty good value in my opinion.
Glad to see the codes are working again, yay! Thanks OP!
Years ago, picked up a small tuna sandwich for lunch.
Got back to work, and my sandwich had NO tuna. Just lettuce, tomato, onions, o&v, smh. Sent off a scathing email to corporate. All they said was sorry. Haven't been back since. Blimpies has always been better anyway, imo.
I had something similar happen. ordered 5 subs for a meeting. All with the same basic toppings, but then a couple different meats, mayo and mustard on the side. I got 5 subs of toppings, no meat. They accused us of eating the meat and trying to get more. It was so awkward. Although the best was my wife ordering a a pepperoni pizza with cheese and pepperoni only from Pizza Hut because she's mildly allergic to tomatoes. We got a pile of melted cheese and pepperoni in a box.
app doesn't even let you tip when I go all the way to the place order screen
Subway wages aren't based on tipping culture as far as I know
Is this all about a tipping jar that has probably been sitting in the same spot for decades? Take a deep breath, step back, and go look for a post about restaurant TOGO orders.
Anyway, the coupon worked on all the sandwiches I tried (classic, vault, series) EXCEPT for series sandwiches that were a little higher than the others (>$12 in my market). I think I only found one sandwich over $12 that it worked on...making that the only sandwich which $5.99 beats BOGO monetarily.

They are not loosing.. they are just telling the workers to skimp the toppings. Few that do participate, my last online sub was very thin and mostly bread only. Never again at Subway.
Dont know whats the reason but seems to be these owners/workers are extremely stingy.
I can testify that the same thing happened to me. I ordered two of their new XL subs with a B1G1 coupon from part of the community coupons they sent out to everyone. I made my ordered online and when I got to the store the sandwiches were light and just normal sized with laughable few toppings after I specifically suggested extra toppings online.
John Oliver did a whole story about just how terrible Subway's business structure is. The way he makes it sounds, if you buy a Subway franchise, you've basically already farked yourself.
This code is for orders placed in the Subway app. The Subway app doesn't have a "tip" feature. And at the Subway by me, there's a "mobile order pickup" shelf near the front door... I'll walk in and my sandwich will already be waiting on that shelf, with the receipt taped to the bag showing my name at the top and no hint of which employee actually made it.
So who do I tip, and how? And how do I make sure the tips actually end up going to the employee I tip, and not to the franchise owner (who's getting screwed either way) or the corporate office?
End stage capitalism is all sorts of ugly and horrifying... I don't think my randomly tipping people who happen to be the near the end of various supply chains is going to fix the problem. I do think the problem ought to be fixed.
The owners would make a lot more if they didn't have to pay for all of those SPORTS FIGURES shilling the products.
When I see some athlete that can barely read off a teleprompter, who without sports would likely be working at the very restaurant they're now hocking BS for, it makes me resent the company for paying these idiots obscene amounts because they believe their customers are equally ignorant and superficially manipulated.
Make a good product for a fair price and I'll buy it. The pricing, serving, fine print, PR games are next level and I'm over this garbage. I'm not even going to get started on "news".
It's a raging dumpster fire out there. People need to wake up or it WILL get worse.
I've been using this coupon almost every week for the past 6 months with no issues, other than that every 2 weeks it goes from 599FOOTLONG to FOOTLONG599
Wow! With that many subs eaten are you as skinny as Jarred from the commercials? I mean before the unpleasantness that happened with him.

workers should demand higher wages, shops should charge us more, and we should all collectively abolish this stupid tipping system.
