For the same money you can get PS5 Digital for 4k gaming.
Yes because PC gaming equates to a PS5.

That's why everyone shifted to consoles.

If you dont want the "4k" lie from Xbox/ps anymore this is a good way out. No more yearly fee either

If you are strictly looking for gaming, your comment is 100% correct. Pretty sure this PC is aimed at general use though.

Rofl. You think it's actually rendering 4k. That's cute.

Ryzen 5 5600G 3.9GHz AMD was launched just last year, so it's not a 5 - 6 year old machine like a lot of the off-lease/refurbs from Dell, etc. Makes it sound like a pretty good deal for a desktop.

$400 refurb LOL.
This system was most likely $700 last year. You can probably build this for $600. But $400 for a 2 year old refurb targeting those looking for good 1080 gaming pc and other tasks is a decent deal for those not wanting a $1,500 gaming rig. Sure you'll want to bump the ram to 16GB and add a second larger hd for storage. But $180 for the cpu (6 core, 12 thread), $150 for the RX5500 4GB. Add in the case, mb, ps, ssd, ram, Win10, etc you're well into $600. So before you laugh, compare a bit and if it's not for you then move on! I laugh at the $149 Optiplex refurbs all the time because those are 5-7 year old systems that are good for an office Word system or older person web browsing but is basically "obsolete".

how would this handle 4k editing in premiere? i bought a i9-12900k/rtx 3080 a few months ago and I regret it cause its super overkill for how often I edit video(once or a month or two)

256gb ssd is nice but not enough memory for me. Does anyone know if I can fit an additional 3.5 hdd in this?
