This specific CPU (Ryzen 5 6600H) is between an i7-1270p and i7-1280p in Passmark benchmarks.

It seems a little slower than some previous gen Ryzen 7/9 laptop CPUs though, but check the link for yourself.

No laptop will, and shaders are a great alternative if you don't like the look of RTX or you want more FPS. A simple Google search will show you that the 3050 averages 50-60 fps with RTX at 8 chunks render distance depending on the scene.

Every laptop gets hot so if you don't like 75-90 ° C you should buy a desktop or get a Legion if you want lower temps. (but they don't go on sale as often) Most modern gaming laptops don't drop frames and the older 2021 G15 with Ryzen 5000 didn't, so I would expect the 6000 series to perform the same in the 2022 model.

I disagree. I got a similar model, but with a 3060. I upped the ram to 32GB and it's pretty decent. I wish it was better at cooling, as I see some throttling with VR, but I don't have any issues with the build quality.

Spot on: this is solid performance/internals for the price, but you're getting a disappointing monitor paired with arguably premium internals. Not atypical for Dell (or HP - see Pavlion Aero - or others). Just disappointing and something to consider at the >$500 price where premium devices sometimes appear when discounted.

Looking for a low budget gaming laptop that'll run minecrap in RTX (maybe second screen it on the TV).
