Home Depot has a offer now for M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 14 in. Abrasive Cut-Off Saw (Tool-Only) that includes a free 12Ah M18 battery (free gift). If you were to hack this deal the price of the HO12.0Ah batter comes down to 142.94 which seems like a pretty good deal.

The cut-off saw also comes down to $176.06 for those interested in that as well or instead.

The challenge comes with finding a store that has the Cut-Off saw in stock but you can find them. Honestly I had to play around with the site a bit to get the right combo of stores and to get the offer to be available. I managed, so it can be done.

You have to find and select as "your store" a Home Depot that has the chop saw in stock. You find that and the deal should work. They're not in high stock anywhere so I won't even bother telling you where I found it cause it sold out of that store when I purchased

Right now batteries attach to the tool. But they are going to get so tall that you attach the tool to the battery.

You know what might have happened? Did you pick the chop saw option that is the package with a battery included in the price? What you need is the Tool Only version of the chop saw and then add the 12.0 battery to that. It's a little confusing cause the deal works for both but the battery is less expensive if you choose the TOOL ONLY chop saw

Oh you're right! Haha didn't even notice that, my mistake. Now I see it as $142. Thanks. The problem I encounter now is that it won't allow me to complete the order unless I choose to pick up both the battery and saw in those store codes you listed. I wish I could get it shipped because I'm in California lol.

So theoretically you can set the saw to be picked up in NJ and the battery to be picked up at your local Home Depot. Pick up the battery and then cancel or never pick up the saw.
