FYI this is the basic plan; no Howard for those who care.

FYI, there's some other BS fee attached that ends up making the total $120ish. That said we did this last go around, I don't regret it.

Try chatting and send the rep a link to the website to sign up. No issues when I did it that way.

The ol' bait and switch. I went through the purchase and got to checkout and it was not 3 for 99, the plan offered was 1 for 60.

I managed to get it for a 2021 that had a little bit of time left on my current subscription by talking the rep. It took a bit of convincing, but they did honor it. I do have SiriusXM Guardian that I pay annually for, which I've never been able to get a deal on, but I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it.

On phone - Tried for 1 hour with US supervisor. Said there was no way to add it to a 2021 Nissan Rogue. Tried for 3 year and 5 year plan.

I guess it's hit or miss. Will keep trying. Maybe chat would be better.

I have a 2017 car that's getting ready to run out a 1 year subscription later this month, that I paid ~$72 (plus fees) for.
I used the chat function thru the website, although for some reason, I had to use a VPN in order to do so.

I just told the agent I needed to cancel because I can no longer afford it.
They offered me a year at $72 plus fees. I said it was too much.
They offered 5.99/month plus fees, then 4.99 plus fees. I politely just said "I'm sorry, I can't afford it."

They then asked me "how much can you afford?" I said I'd heard something about a 3 year plan for $99, and said "I could probably afford that." I didn't mention the link posted here.

They had me hold a while and initially said the best they could offer for my car was 60/year plus fees. I said that was just too much and we should just go ahead and cancel.

They immediately said they could offer the 3 years for $99. Total was just over 115 with tax/fees.

Next time ask them to transfer you to the office of the Vice President of Consumer Affairs.

Do you happen to have any experience or info on how a current subscriber would be able to get this deal? Thanks
Unfortunately I don't. I was offered this deal a couple of years ago via snail mail. Some people seem to have luck calling and pressuring the call center rep. Others are having luck via chat online. For starters, I would log on to your account and sign up for promotions via emails and snailmail under the communications section of your dashboard. They may send you this very offer before your current subscription runs out.

You'll be lucky to get the $99 plan. The link I had switched to a site trying to get me to pay $5 per month for 12 months. No Howard Stern.

Thanks a lot! So what do you think happens if it's a fail? Does one just take the L and cancel, take the new discount or say never mind and hang up?

You pretty much have to be willing to cancel every time you speak to Sirius about renewing or changing your subscription, TBH. I've had the service off and on for about 10 years. I've tried being nice, I've tried being confrontational (ie "I know someone who got this same service for ____ a month, why can't you match that?".) It's just luck--if the agent is willing to look and/or offer the deals you see mentioned online.

I knew I wasn't willing to keep paying $5/month so unless they gave me this deal, I was gone. It sounds like most people mention the URL in OP but that doesn't always get the deal offered to them.

$662.64 total value lol. Sad thing is many people pay full price because they don't know any better. Most forget about the reoccurring fee by not looking at their credit card charges each month.
