FYI, there's some other BS fee attached that ends up making the total $120ish. That said we did this last go around, I don't regret it.

I hope you are going to be fair to Netflix, AppleTV, Prime, and Hulu. Where is their extra fee for content?
Not everyone breaks it out, but its in there. They don't get the content to retransmit for free. My cable company broke out lots of fees, which were nearly half the cable TV cost before I left for streaming.

I received this in an email for my 2013 chevy. Pulled the trigger. Noob question... Anyone know how hard this is to move to another receiver down the road?

I got the deal thanks to Mr. Bill who posted just above, and others, too. I used his exact technique via text. Like Bill, it took just under an hour and two transfers within the text portal. Three times they refused and when I firmly told them to cancel if I couldn't get this exact deal they caved.

By the way, for many years I have looked up the latest Slickdeals thread on current strategy for dealing with Sirius XM. Their games are constant and just yesterday they announced many layoffs. Poor and deceptive customer service seems to be their business model.

I did get hit for the full $138 on the so called $99 deal. After 52 minutes I'd had enough and the cost per month was still way lower than ever paid before.

Remember that if you have discover card, it's a five percent rebate until end of March. Load your card as your payment method into your account before you begin chat.

For anyone trying to get this deal, call in, don't use the chat. I started out with the chat service this morning and after 20 minutes they wouldn't budge. I had them cancel my plan via chat. I then called in to customer service, told them about my chat experience and that I'd love to stay if they could apply the 3 year deal. Within 10 minutes they had the plan authorized and applied.

From my experience: Chat. Don't call. They refused twice on calls. The games they play over the phone are ridiculous and it's been that way for years.

Chat did the trick. MUCH less hassle with the hoped for end result.

Why cancel and then have the hassle of trying to get reinstated when you don't need to go through all of that.

Too bad they don't have the 5 year deals going, it would be great to not have to play the pricing game for that long.

This deal pops up a couple times a year, and never works for me. I have two cars, both older than 2019. Both gave me $60 for a single year, however, my Mercedes gave me a plan upgrade for Howard Stern. I passed, $5 a month isn't a steal. especially when the commercial free station still promote other stations and Sirius events. The only way to have commercial free music is with a streamer.

I spent 30 mins on chat and they would not do better than $60 per year. My car was manufactured in 2016. When was yours?

I was told it was 2015 or older too. I have a 2017. I cancelled my subscription. Came back to this thread to click the link/see what offers they had for me today.

Chatted today on both of my expiring trials this week. I sent them link as requested and they denied without giving a reason. One is a 2018 and another 2023. Supposedly they claimed their next level up would not approve.
I ended up cancelling both accounts.

Easiest way is cancel tell them you sold the car then use one of the offer links for sign up. You'll aways get the $5 for 12 and I see a new $5 for 24.

Got this deal on chat today (though for some reason chat wasn't showing as available on Safari so had to switch to Firefox). Told initial rep I wanted to cancel and rejected their offer as not good enough so they transferred me to a "specialist."

The specialist gave me a better offer but I asked about the 3 year for $99 offer and gave them the link. They came back and asked where I learned about the offer and told them a friend had mentioned it. They wanted to know if I got an email with the offer and I told them yes. They went away for a few minutes and came back ready to give me the deal. All in with fees, it was just under $120 for 3 years (and our car is a 2020].

Much better than the other deal @ $6/mo for a year after fees, etc. that get's posted here every week.
Yea but the 6$ gets you Howard and if you like his show you wouldn't get this deal
