Various deck screws at Home Depot
Not a super must buy deal to stock up or front page worthy but if you need a lot of deck screws soon it is the best I could find. Treated wood prices have plummeted and a great time to do that project you've been putting off. Significantly less price per screw than the standard 5lb tubs that run $30-35 normally.

10lb 2 1/2 and 3 inch #9, ship to home and/or store $41.97

I've found some Lowes have a 800 count 3 inch #10 for $39 if you can find them. There was a deal posted earlier this year with details but YMMV

Phillips are for suckers, right? Big Grin. How do these compare to GRK and Spax?

These are Torx. I prefer GRK but not when I need this many for the $$

This comes with a bit, I've used the same bit from my first 10 lbs for 20-30 lbs now. I haven't stripped any. I like them just as much as GRK. Also, yes, Phillips suck big time. You might save money on screws but you'll end up spending more just on bits 😂

If you have patience, the Walmart deal comes in and out of stock regularly. I bought it after it went out of stock and came back in stock the 2nd or 3rd round. I received as advertised, 800 screws/10lbs for $11.

It screws in easier without having to push it. It also pulls wood together better than the one that Lowe's sells (I forgot the name)

I did an almost 600sq ft deck using these and only one was unusable out of the box. These are my preferred outdoor rated screw when needed. And yes, phillips are for suckers. Torx are better in every possible way.

1 lbs box cost around 11$ at home depot. So i guess this is a good deal. Torx is the way to go. A lot better than Phillips!!

100% yes. for the 3in screw... The Deck Plus brand from Lowes only has 1 inch of no threads, the DeckMate from Home Depot has a full 1.5 inch of no threads. Makes a huge difference in pulling the boards tight when using 2x lumber. I find myself way too often reversing and re tightening the Deck Plus brand or using quick clamps and it is frustrating and time consuming. I stopped buying the "Deck Plus" brand for that reason. No way I am predrilling. I'd just use the nailer and galvanized ring shank nails at that point.
