Just to further your point. This is absolutely the best non OLED TV you can buy as it sits basically equal to the Samsung QN90B as per RTINGS.com. It even is better in some categories and is an equal 8.6 for mixed usage. The highest non OLED score that has been awarded. (See attached image)
Sure you can say "For the money" but it is more than that. It's not only the best for the money, but it's just darn basically one of the best TVs period.
However, I don't agree with you that the price isn't slick. Sure it was $650 recently, but I don't know that they'll go that low again for some time now that they know what sort of banger they have on their hands. It's going to become the most talked about television of 2022, and now that it's in people's homes they can keep the price a bit higher; closer to their MSRP.
