I guess you could buy now and just return/rebuy if they won't do a price adjustment.
XM3 - sound more crisp and sounds more like a live performance. IE Orchestral pieces have a great soundstage and sounds live. Bass slightly more punchy but still smooth. Comfort is less because the dust filters are not angled to the angle of your ears. Requires EQ from the app to sound its best. Out of the box, quality is less than Bose. EQ saves to headphones.
QC35 - sound is more smooth, deep but sounds more like in a recording studio. Makes orchestral sound like the treble is slightly muddy. Sibilants sounded slightly piercing. Better comfort because of angled dust filters and better mic quality. Doesn't require EQ to sound its best (mostly applies to 700 and QC45 since QC35 cannot do EQ)
ANC on both is great, but if you really value music quality, turn it off.

The Momentum 4 are comfortable and gave fantastic sound, but I've been having issues with their software (specifically iOS), they run a bit hot, and I've had one pair die on me with 2 days of use.
Unless there's something specific you want (for example, the 60hr battery life, or you just want something newer), I recommend the QC45 for the money.
A note in the Momentum 4 vs 3: I don't think these can get any more different while still being called headphones. DRASTIC change between the M3 and M4.
