None of DeWalt's power tools are fully US built. Most still use global components made in China and Vietnam. Like... Every... Other... Drill on the market.

Price is after a refund for the free gift. Total initial cost still $400. Just a heads up for people like who didn't understand what hackable price meant.

I am really not a brand snob but I honestly don't understand the hype around Milwaukee. I have their m18 fuel drill and it's absolute garbage. Less than a month old, overheats like crazy, chuck always slips and batteries drain way too fast. The overheating is especially bad. How does a brushless drill get that hot from drilling mild steel. My 6 year old dewalt doesn't even get warm when I use it for exact same tasks. Did i get a lemon or is this standard for M18 drills?.
