Not a bad price at all Samsung direct has had probably better deals for fully unlocked but it depends on trade-in. The issue is the trade-ins rely on you putting a pretty expensive phone to trade.

They do bundle cases and pens with it when you buy direct, so that has to be factored in as well.

$1279+tax for the 256GB and the great amazon return policy is not bad, even just for me to try it for a week and see what the battery , usability etc is like.

Where do you see the details on the 20% with the Amazon Prime Card. I assume this is the credit card from Chase?

Better off selling it yourself on Swappa and buying this here.

the option to not trade in is nice - but rn selling a used samsung is tough for any decent price. I know folks mention swappa - have you seen how crowded that is, especially for samsungs?

Best Buy is giving nice trade-in via a samsung promo. I only had to pay $29 when I traded my s21 ultra for a 128gb s22 ultra. Definitely wouldn't sign up for the CC just to grab this.

So the title price is after the cash back? If so, that's misleading.

Theres nothing misleading about it at all. Try reading it again.
It can be a bit misleading, but I understand what you're saying as well.

Absolutely not worth it - these are selling for pennies on the dollar on OfferUp/CL. You can find these for $1100-$1200 new. I'm struggling to sell an unlocked Flip 4 for $700.

the title should be better; it's 1280 AFTER 20% cashback.

I personally would avoid any Samsung phones until Samsung fixes their battery chemistry. Tech YouTubers who have access to pretty much all brands of phones and keep them have noticed Samsung batteries being the only ones to bulge and damage phones.

Have never had any issues with batteries on Samsung. If this isn't a known information and a specific youtuber is the only one who knows it means it doesn't affect the masses at all.

while I agree, because they should be lasting longer... but I think the biggest cause to the battery expanding are tech reviewers odd use of phones. Where they use them very briefly for a video/review, and then just stash them away, with no movement/use on the batteries, so it just sits there. (not the best for batteries)

I don't think there is much of an issue with batteries expanding if you use it normally/daily.

Had them exclusively since gs3 and never had a single issue. We use them for 2 years then give them to kids for 2 more, and they have not had issues. Why anyone would ever buy an iphone after they admitted to lowering battery life is beyond me - Stockholm Syndrome...
