Some positives about this fan:
- it's blade less which is safer for kids and for ppl with dust allergies, you can actually clean out all the dust.
- it's not a powerful blowing fan (can be a con for some folks)...even at highest speed it's a med speed compared to vornado but for me this is the only fan I can keep on at night at a low speed without waking up shivering
- compact design...now you don't need space for 2 devices

Some negatives to point out:
- you think the fan is expensive...wait till you buy their filters...(luckily 3rd party filters are available and they seem to be decent)
- my digits display unit broke after 1 year for both my fans....the fan still works great though.
I have a couple of these and in my opinion, they are ridiculous and overpriced. I suppose in the right space they would make sense, but otherwise I don't think either the fan or the air purifier are as good as stand-alone units. And it costs more than double of what you can get the stand-alone units for.

I have one of these. The white and silver. I got it as a refurb deal on slick deals. It was much cheaper then this. I think $180 or so. At that price, then yes I would get another. But at this price, No. Its not worth it. It looks cool and the app is convenient. It does blow are consistently. But not for $300. Ill wait for another refurb deal.

Please do not make the same mistake I did and buy one of these. Mine breaks down constantly and after a year they will refuse to help you. It barely improved the air in my room. I purchased a. Blu air filter from amazon and it performs so much better and is half the price

So they are so ridiculous and so overpriced that you had to buy a couple of these eh?

honestly, don't buy. Here is my comment from the deal thread regarding TP-04 that I bought from QVC five or six months ago. TP04 is claimed to be improved version of TP02 and it was on deal for 340 that time. I returned the unit the unit very next day.

I can't believe I bought this garbage. Received the unit today, set it up, and had trouble connecting to the local network. I tried all solutions but none worked. Even without the app, this item is overpriced FWIW - Material is cheap plastic, could not feel any air coming out at a 3-meter distance (at the highest setting - 10), very high noise, quiet mode feels very silent but you need to be 1 meter away to feel the air being blown out (seriously?). I couldn't convince myself that I spent 330+$ for a device that circulates and purifies air which many other air-purifiers do around 100$ price range. I wanted to get this because I have asthma and I was convinced about the air-purifying efficiency this model has but I was wrong. Sorry boys, I am raged. Never had this much disappointment in any electronic device I bought through SD. On top of all, I can't get any refund because gift cards are not redeemable for cash and QVC has nothing but garbage to use those gift cards on. A good lesson for me.

You are not paying for its performance with these Dyson fans. It's purely for aesthetics, branding like many other luxury brands in fashion

I just happened to need a new tower fan as my current one is on it's last leg. I pulled the trigger on this and after I tried it out... I sent it right back. It doesn't move much air until you get it to higher settings (6+) at which point it becomes ridiculously loud. The remote also had terrible range.

This video kind of says it all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dS0oFmzU06g

Avoid all Dyson products honestly. Except for the hair dryer, it's actually good! Even the vacuum is outdone by shark. Dyson just makes fancy molded plastic toys.

Dyson fan's are decent. The air flow is not as powerful as a Lasko or something, but it's also not as loud, heavy, and bulky. The design is pleasant to look at too. This is also a better deal than the Target one which is same price but for the older model TP01 (without the Wifi connectivity). I think any time you have a combo type product (fan + air purifier, etc) the performance is not as great as stand alone of each thing. I have a very old Dyson that is just a fan and the air flow at level 1/2 is better than the newer ones at 3/4. Too bad they don't sell that version anymore. I do recommend Dyson fans if you have the extra money for it and understand it's a luxury type fan (meaning you can always get the same function for cheaper elsewhere). P.S. urlhasbeenblocked has 1% cash back on Dyson.com.
