I am secure in my manhood, shoes don't change that.. 😊 I hope you aren't one of those guys who is compensating for certain shortcomings, dressing macho, driving a huge jacked up pickup that's never worked or been off road or possibly a hot sports car that would scare the piss out of you if someone took you for a ride at half of it's capabilities. For your sake I really hope you aren't one of those "Men". I wear crocs or a cheap knock off when I'm working in my shop and I don't feel any less manly and nothing has shrank at all. Good luck 🤞

My dad-card supersedes the man-card, and thus I have no shame... But, after getting these sketchers on one of the older SD's, they look incredibly girly, so I only use them to take out the trash. I do really like those futuristic merrel foam shoe though. I feel like spiderman... in my underwear... taking out the trash.

Personally I disagree to a certain degree. Matter of fact, I would avoid clogs for wet conditions as they don't provide the proper traction especially on stairs or inclines/declines on smooth surfaces like large rocks especially when wet. This summer I slipped down some stairs outside after it had rained and messed up my back and both wrists. I've had similar although not as severe , instance when crossing a creek stepping from 1 large rock/boulder to another, I slipped into the water. These shoes are not made for surfaces which are wet or slick. I will say at the beach they are fine on sand or walking on shells.

I'm a Croc's convert, I must admit. They are MUCH nicer than slides. Also, a lot of the Crocs knock-offs aren't going to be nearly as high quality as genuine Crocs, but given these are made by Skechers, I'm guessing they should be fairly high quality. Would have bought a pair at this price, but alas, Size 10 looks like it just went OOS.

For $18 shipped I will give them a shot. The regular Crocs seem like they have gone down in quality or they have changed the footbed mold. Hoping these have more arch support.

I wear them on short trips or around the yard. Happily married 30 years, so I think I'm good. Except the fact my wife will steal them and wear them doing yard-work herself. They are obviously aren't for date night or hiking.

I was wondering about that, turns out Crocs sued the wrong family owned company who knew their patent was on shakey ground. They decided to fight it in court and Crocs ended up losing a key patent. I assume that's why we're seeing crocs that aren't Crocs now.

Absolutely and they should! All these companies jumping on the bandwagon of crocs design and success, is highly illegal. We saw it with Hobby Lobby, Full Beauty and Walmart as well as a multitude of other companies. Many of them have already settled their lawsuits and now have to pay Crocs for every pair they sell, unless they change their design. Walmart chose not to change their design and many others have not, so I'm assuming they'd rather pay the 25 cents a pair or whatever number they came up with in the settlement, to Crocs forever.

Nah, it's the way they fit. You have the option to move that back strap "thingy" forward and use like a slide or move it backwards and get more support and use like a regular shoe. The only slides that I even like are my Jordan slides with velcro. My other slides seem to actually slide off of my foot and aren't very secure. All that said, I'd never wear slides to into a retail store or outside the house.... but, the Croc's are something you can actually wear outside the house. If you buy a pair, you'll understand.
