Really like how Uber eats app lets me enter a code in the promotions sections and store it, see terms, exp., etc, without having to worry about using it immediately or test if it is valid or not.

Don't think Uber eats is responsible for hair on your sushi... And room temp sushi is not really an issue, it's not like they pack it in a cooler for you...

You're not alone. I just ordered Uber Eats from a sandwich shop only 4 blocks directly south of me and the driver passed by my street and continued over a mile NORTH of me and when I texted him that he was over a mile 'past' my location he replied "Yeah, I zoned out". The driver looked all drugged out when he delivered it.
Even the chili which the sandwich shop always packages so hot that you can fuse metal with it, arrived less than luke warm.

Three weeks ago I ordered 2 X-Large pizzas via Uber Eats delivery and they took a 3.5 mile ride with no insulated hot-bag at all. They both arrived ice cold.
I'm done with Uber Eats.

what are the requirements for getting to be a delivery driver? Criminal background check? Just have to be breathing? which apps vet their Drivers the most? there have been Some cases of criminal conduct from Uber driving people, are theUber eats drivers also doing taxiing?

A little. Unfortunately whenever I'm subscribed to uber1, I no longer receive nor am eligible for promos. It happens to multiple accounts.
