Good deal but I've been getting Bluetooth problems with this one… Bluetooth adapter keeps becoming unavailable even after they swapped the board, twice..

This or the Thinkbook 13s? I've seen that go on sale here for right about the same price and it has the 6800u. Are you basically paying for the Thinkpad quality here?

That and the extra security features and longer and better support. The security features you may not need but those are there. This has Ryzen Pro CPU which are equivalent to Intel's vPro series CPUs.

How big is the performance gap between this and the 6800u graphically?

Can anyone sign up for Perks account? Sounds like you need to work at a company that is part of the program.

I signed up two years ago using my personal email and it worked. I don't know if things have changed since then. You can get someone to invite you as well from their account if your personal email doesn't work.

Terrible on mobile devices with Chrome browser. Works okay with Firefox, but still kinda crappy.

Disagree, you just have to pay for premium support, and if you live in a metropolitan area that service is even better.

It isn't great. 16GB of RAM might not be enough given it's not upgradable. Yet, these sell out at this price so I must be missing something. It's a nice machine, but the specs should be better with a marginally higher price. Lenovo charges a lot for extra RAM.

How would something like this be a for a non-gamer / stock trader ... ? I don't need high quality GPU, just mainly fast processor and at least 16GB DDR5.

Screen size is also somewhat of a consideration as well, so this 13" might be (certainly) on the low end... but anyway just wanted to hear some thoughts...

I feel like all I see are gaming laptops or small business laptops and for me I'm unfortunately somewhere in the middle... (certainly not on the gaming side of things though)

Should be great if you are happy with 13". I think 13 is perfect if you carry it a lot, take on flights ect. Preferably with a larger monitor(s) to connect to at work/home.
I like 14 better if doing a lot of work on laptop screen, still pretty small light for carrying.
Thinkpad X models are excellent build quality. Processor and RAM will be plenty for your uses. I would expect 5+ years of good use.
