This or the Thinkbook 13s? I've seen that go on sale here for right about the same price and it has the 6800u. Are you basically paying for the Thinkpad quality here?

That and the extra security features and longer and better support. The security features you may not need but those are there. This has Ryzen Pro CPU which are equivalent to Intel's vPro series CPUs.

I signed up two years ago using my personal email and it worked. I don't know if things have changed since then. You can get someone to invite you as well from their account if your personal email doesn't work.

Terrible on mobile devices with Chrome browser. Works okay with Firefox, but still kinda crappy.

It isn't great. 16GB of RAM might not be enough given it's not upgradable. Yet, these sell out at this price so I must be missing something. It's a nice machine, but the specs should be better with a marginally higher price. Lenovo charges a lot for extra RAM.
