Need Box Spring? It depends.
The bed is listed as low profile with an underside clearance of <3". So even if the slats are 7" above these 3" feet, and your mattress is 10" thick, the height of bed would be 20".
So the answer depends on whether a 20" tall bed works for you.
Note though that this bed only comes with only 4 slats (See assembly manual [wfcdn.com]). So you'll have to add additional slats or a bed board.

First delivery date was Saturday. No call no show. I look at the site, it wants me to schedule my delivery so I do it for Tuesday.
Tuesday they call me at 7am, after I've moved all my stuff, mattress, nightstands for the second time and tell me they won't have time to assemble it so I can either reschedule for another day, or they can atleast drop the boxes off and someone will come back to do assembly. I tell them I'll take the boxes and reschedule assembly. I reschedule assembly for Thursday at 7am. This is all with Wayfair associates over the phone.
Thursday comes around they call me at 7am and tell me they don't assemble beds that will take longer than 30 minutes, and mine will take an hour. Assembly was offered to me in error and I will have to schedule assembly with their partner Handy.
They give me discounts for the problem, refund delivery, fine.
The handy guy comes and assembles on Sunday, puts the bed together, and it's a California king instead of a king, which is what I bought.
I call Wayfair. $225 return pickup return fee AND I need to disassemble it myself.
