A few days ago I saw an article pop up about new PlayStation tiers about to be added. I've been meaning to upgrade our son's account while it's still possible to upgrade multiple years at the flat fee of one year upcharge.
Anyone know details on the new tiers and if this will have any affect on being able to upgrade at the flat fee if I decide to later (considering waiting on another deal to extend his current membership -- it's set to expire in 2029 as of now). When I ran across the article a few days ago I didn't click on it, and the only thing I can find now is talking about an "invitation only" tier will be added, but what I saw said tiers are changing.
Really just trying to get an idea of if there's a rush to upgrade, or if I can wait until cheaper 12-month subscriptions become available and add a few more years before upgrading. But the title of the article was something like, PlayStation Tiers are Changing in a Week.
