Thank you! My kid is a huge Minecraft fan and I'm hoping books like this will help him to start using the more complex mechanisms available in the game.

This guide came out in 2017 and contain outdated information. Unless you don't mind hitting a roadblock every few pages, I'd recommend you checking out the newest edition coming out later this year.

The guides are cute but ultimately worthless, have your kids watch the different HermitCraft youtubers (all Mojang sponsored iirc), such as Mumbo Jumbo or other youtubers like Wattles, etc., they have a bunch of really in-depth tutorial videos that are far easier to understand than these books. Also note Redstone works completely different between the Java and the Bedrock Editions.

Totally agree here. Something like this is nice, I wanted my daughter to learn by reading, but I had to admit the video has far more impact in terms of learning the stuff.
