Ordered 15 and received 16.
Easy to setup, works seamlessly with Tuya but bulbs flicker with regular dimmer switch.
Should I change it smart dimmer switch?

These don't work with a regular dimmer switch. There's a microcontroller inside to control dimming and color output, so using a dumb dimmer switch will cause issues. It would be like trying to put your smart TV on a dimmer switch to change the brightness.

That's the only way to maintain physical control with dimming, but it's a lot more complicated getting your smart switch talking to your smart bulb, and often requires some sort of hub to act as the go-between.

Are these bulbs based on esp chip ? Tasmota ble?
The bulbs [blakadder.com] used to be, but switched to an incompatible Tuya version about a year ago. Just depends on the age of the stock they're dumping. Even then, it was an Tuya branded ESP8266/8285 variant, so no BLE.

You should be using NO dimmer switch. The dimming is controller by the app (or your voice, if you have Alexa - which you should if you own smart bulbs)

I've had 2 of the 75 watt die and 3 of the 60 watt white in under a year but they are outdoor covered areas. So I wouldn't suggest them outside

Heads Up: These go bad fairly quickly. We have them all over our house and at least one goes bad every 6 months. (Out of maybe 10-15) Otherwise they work great and with both Alexa and Google Home. Just be aware they aren't very reliable.

In for 3 bulbs. We've been using the multi-colored Merkury bulbs with no issues for the last couple of months. I have them integrated with Alexa and use the Geeni app as well. What I like about these bulbs compared to bluetooth bulbs I had before is these reconnect to my WiFi after someone flips the physical light switch. The bluetooth ones I had would start blinking until I went through the process of repairing them which was tedious after awhile.
Look for switch guards if the lights are to be kept in the power on position all the time. They're cheap (about $4 for 2pk) and are awesome for reminding not to toggle off. The ones I bought can still be toggled but you have to toggle from the side rather than just hit the switch. Bonus: they stay clean!

On top of not having a 'smart' controller, it also only has a single white channel vs the CW + WW in the Merkury.
Do you know if the Merkury strip is USB -C?

Monster has multiple strips, I bought the $4.88 and another model with 3 white, but both are the old USB-A

This doesn't use USB at all. It has a wall wart terminated with a barrel jack. The barrel jack plugs into the LED driver module.

If you really want to use a USB-C charger/battery bank, you can get a USB-C to barrel jack cable. As long as it has the built-in circuity to trigger 12V operation, you should be good.

I just wanted to plug it directly into the back of the display

That's what you would be able to do. Ditch the stock power adapter and cable, and use something like this [amazon.com] connected from the USB-C port on your monitor to the LED driver. (Not sure if that's the correct barrel jack size, but it should give you an idea of what I was talking about.)

What were you expecting? The box clearly lists a color temperature of 2700k and "Soft warm white light"

You'll want a color temperature of 4-5k+ for daylight, and even higher for cool white.
