Just so no one will fail for it like I did, this thing's MSRP is 10 dollar, NOT 19.99. It literally printed on its label MSRP is $10.00.

I was really hoping this would be some kind of full body costume if you wanted to dress up not like Link, but only as his shield.

I was surprised that this shield survived my child. Its made of very thin plastic, but never broke despite being used constantly for years. The paint job on it is nice.

This is child's sized. Do not buy this for your adult cosplays, unless you are going for some kind of ironic "adult link in kid link's clothes" cosplay.

The title "Link's Shield Costume" makes it seem it is a costume to be the shield itself.

If this is the same item I saw in Target last week, it's made of cheap plastic. It looks very vivid and would be great as a wall piece (very light), but temper your expectations for a durable toy or RP piece.

Bought this under one of the previous postings (this is the third time I've seen this in the last month or two). It's bright and good looking but agree that it's pretty flimsy plastic. I'll add that I bought the sword as well and just playfully tapping the sword against the shield fairly lightly with my son has caused some visible scratching on the paint. Definitely wouldn't hold up well with actual hacking and slashing like young kids like to do. I also second the price tag saying right on it that it's $10!
