I've heard very positive things about the Trail Boss Axe, and this is an okay price for one. Axe is light at 2lb 14oz with a very light head 1.5lb. That means you will need some muscle to chop or split with it, but it's heavier and has a longer haft than a camp hatchet. Not the best tool for felling anything other than very small trees, but more capable than a hatchet for processing firewood. Thinking about one for hunting season to replace my hatchet. If you need a real felling axe then look for something heavier.
I waited/debated too long.
