Went to Costco Business Center to try and redeem some of my Citi coupons on some new airpods pro and the guy wasn't able to do it from there since not a warehouse. He did find the item # and then told me to wait until 10/8/22 as the warehouses will have them priced at $169.99. He said I could take a picture of the screen. Hopefully this helps someone else that was going to buy and willing to wait another 9 days.

EDIT: Since a lot of people seem to be skeptical on this point, I want to point out two things because people cannot read apparently. This is for 2ND GEN with its item number, it is not a mistake on that. However, there is a big potential that this is a pricing mistake for this item and will be corrected on 10/8, but I will leave the post up as the information was from a Costco employee's system and not based on rumor. Don't waste your energy getting upset that it might not happen, just move on to the next deal.

The sound is improved (esp. bass), transparency mode is better, noise canceling is much stronger, battery life is better and you can now charge with Apple Watch charger, plus enhancements to the case (it basically works like an AirTag now).

Yeah, whatever the 2% you get for going to Citi/Costco for being a member and using their credit card. You aren't able to use them online, has to be in store. I was going to business center to get a bunch of office paper and figured I would try to order them at the service desk since the business center doesn't stock this stuff. Apparently, they cannot order them either as its a limitation for them but he showed me the warehouses that have them coming in.

I don't mind the price cause i make that in 2 hours. they have a definite high value to me. i use them all day so they are worth more than that to me. i usually end up giving stuff like this away just buy it to try out... money for what has worth is a good value. i sleep with them on, used them while working, i love that they read my text to me without having to look at the phone and that it's connected to all my 12 apple devices.

plus this $170 have not come to fruition so who know what we are chasing here.

I'm sure Apple's shareholders would want margins to be destroyed in order to increase sales.

As a shareholder I rather maintain margins than save a few bucks.

But I'm still holding out a fraction of hope that this actually happens. Screw the stock price I'll just buy more if it tanks.

As a long term appl holder (5+ years) this is not even a drop i would imagine. I am up 200% after this drop Smilie actually appl is holding well compared to other stocks last few months of recession fear.

yes i understand there may not be much of an upgrade but i always upgrade and have a circle of upgrades. i gave my 13Pm to my relative, tehn i take the 12pm i gave that person and give it to my business associate, i take his 11pm i had given him and resell it. it's a circle/triangle that works well... plus i always have the latest tech. there are some small upgrades every year people don't notice but i do a bit of programming and i do get benefits from the upgrades.
