I know The Frame has been discussed to death, but it's absolutely a game changer when it comes to where you can put these things/how you can use them. I would never put a TV in the dining room, but we have a 43" in portrait there so as needed, I can put a list/recipe on it in the middle of the day. It's one of the few 'the future is now' type items I feel live up to its hype.

In a general sense, can anyone comment on what they do to mount this? Do they (you) run the power and ethernet and cable coax signals thru the walls (behind the walls) and out some egress point (near the ground), or ... how do you hide the cables? No matter how flush it's mounted, the cabling is still required...
I believe there's one thin translucent cable that runs from the tv to a box that has all of the connections for your various cables.

Understood. So the question is, what do you do with that? Do you run the cabling on the wall and ignore it? Do you run it behind the wall somehow?

Ours has the wire coming out the corner but it's above a credenza that's pretty busy with books and plants so you don't notice. My sister has her wire coming down the middle but it's above smaller framed art so you don't notice.

The phrase you're looking for is "fish wire through wall" and YouTube teaches you how, if you need. We didn't and we're happy.

What is matte coating? Is it worth waiting for 2022? Any other differences between the versions ?

Matte coating has two benefits: 1) when any light hits the tv you don't see the glare and 2) it makes it look more like a painting when the tv is "off"

I have this TV and couldn't be happier. I ran the wires down through the walls and then hid the input box in a side table. The remote uses bluetooth tech so it doesn't matter if the input box is out of line of sight. I am a photographer and use the tele to view my work when not watching tv. Again, one of the best purchases I've made for the theater room.

Really? Frame has really been put down by TV enthusiasts.
Car enthusiasts dogged vehicles like the 2nd Gen Prius calling it "underpowered" but it flys up large hills and mountains far easier than my "powerful" Silverado does. A lot of enthusiasts completely miss the mark on why something exists.

I just put a fake plant where the cable hangs down...

I mean it really is a tiny cable that doesn't stand out by any means and my opinion is seriously not worth the trouble of cutting into walls. With TVs that don't have this type of arrangement with all the connections in an external box it might be worth it for sure.

The 2021 is indeed matte compared to other TVs, but yes the 2022 model supercharges the matte finish to the screen. I'm looking at my 2021 in my family room right now.

If new to Samsung tvs prepare for the most disorganized and unintuitive menu system you have ever experienced, and for Samsung TV Plus to be shoved down your throat.
