i'm sure it's fine, TVs are much weigh much less than they used to, but a wall mount is something i don't skimp on anymore. i bought a cheap <15$ for a 42'' Plasma years ago, always used to droop, annoyed the hell out of me. frame would flex, Plasma's were heavy
