This was SUPER confusing, but I did get it to work. You basically have to add both those offers via PayPal, go to the Google Play Store, buy something and PAY USING THE LINKED PAYPAL ACCOUNT, just go on blind-faith that it will work (not reflected anywhere during the checkout process), and then when you get a receipt you'll see that you paid whatever the price of the thing was minus $15 and then it automatically withdraws from some other account (didn't use my preferred one).

Basically, Google Play Store interface is a dumpster fire of user-experience, but this does eventually work, as OP stated. Good find...Google, for the love of god, fix your UX (maybe spend less time building random projects like Stadia, only to shut them down a year later).

You can ask refund via "google play purchase history" then select "Bought by mistake" They refunded in 1 min.

Per the terms, the purchase must be made on the website. However, I did an in-app purchase and it worked.

I added PayPal to my Google Pay [google.com], and then made an in-game purchase with PayPal as the checkout method, and the promotions applied. (You can't see that the promotion works until after the purchase by going to your PayPal activity.)

If you have multiple PayPal accounts, you can add the 2 promos to each PayPal account, add each PayPal account to the same Google Pay account, and do this promo multiple times. I tested it and it works.

I hope this helps,
Tofu Vic

I have the $0.49 first month Google one offer and the $19.99 is not debited until after the first month. Any way to make the $19.99 payment now?

I feel stupid. I missed the initial description and made a purchase with the 10 dollar coupon. Does anyone know if I can apply it again if I refund it?

I was looking for games higher than $15. After scrolling through 300 or so, only ones I really knew were some final fantasy ports for $17 and the XCOM 2 collection for $20. $5 for XCOM 2 is pretty sweet!!

Just looked up CA doesn't tax digital products.
The one time I'm actually hoping to get charged tax is of course the only time CA doesn't tax us on something lol.

Thanks grabbed KOTOR 2 for $0.98. Not worth 14.99 but under a buck... Sure
Did you paid tax? for some reason, mine is coming saying "no tax" when I try to buy in playstore. So i don't think I will get anything including Maverick, or Fl Studio as all is no tax and 14.99... Crazy

Made an in-app purchase with FiteTV and it didn't work for me. Ended up charging my Paypal account the price of the purchase. :/

How did you do this? Did you go through the Google one app and just picked PayPal as payment?
Right, and then even had a chance to select which payment type to use thru Paypal ... currently the Discover Card 5% category includes Paypal

folks using this to pay for Google One plan, you're doing this as in-app purchase from the Google One app?
