This was SUPER confusing, but I did get it to work. You basically have to add both those offers via PayPal, go to the Google Play Store, buy something and PAY USING THE LINKED PAYPAL ACCOUNT, just go on blind-faith that it will work (not reflected anywhere during the checkout process), and then when you get a receipt you'll see that you paid whatever the price of the thing was minus $15 and then it automatically withdraws from some other account (didn't use my preferred one).

Basically, Google Play Store interface is a dumpster fire of user-experience, but this does eventually work, as OP stated. Good find...Google, for the love of god, fix your UX (maybe spend less time building random projects like Stadia, only to shut them down a year later).

You can ask refund via "google play purchase history" then select "Bought by mistake" They refunded in 1 min.

Per the terms, the purchase must be made on the website. However, I did an in-app purchase and it worked.

I added PayPal to my Google Pay [google.com], and then made an in-game purchase with PayPal as the checkout method, and the promotions applied. (You can't see that the promotion works until after the purchase by going to your PayPal activity.)

If you have multiple PayPal accounts, you can add the 2 promos to each PayPal account, add each PayPal account to the same Google Pay account, and do this promo multiple times. I tested it and it works.

I used the link in the OP, but I didn't try to use either coupon once there deal starting dying, since I didn't want to deal with the hassle of fighting for a refund or adjustment. Oddly enough, both coupons still showed up in my PayPal wallet long after SDers started reporting that the deal was dead.

Didn't work for me even though I got emails after clicking the 'save offer' buttons, confirming the coupons. Bought Maverick and was charged $16.04, no sign of discount on any receipts at all.

Called Paypal and they knew about the promos. They looked at the emails that they sent out. I have 2 promotion confirmation but they were not applied to my recent purchase. They credited me $15.

Even though the coupons/offer is saved to your account, once the max number of redemptions is met, the coupon/offer is dead. In the case of paypal pulling the coupon/offer before max number of redemptions met, the people that saved it to their account(s) can still use it (as long as max number of redemptions is not met)
