My $200 gift card purchased from Christmas deal suddenly became $1 in march. Target gift card support says it is geniune in store transaction made 1200 miles away from my place. My account is not compromised and i never went to that city. I was told that there is no fraud protection on these gift cards

This is more like 5% off, because using the Redcard gives you 5% off already.

Not sure abt Target in particular, but Amazon certainly does and not only for PS5. They even used to state that right in the description before (I assume due to large number of fraud with people returning a different device). Havent seen that notice for a while though

I was a bit concerned about the Discover bonus since I purchased an eGift on 9/30 at ~2pm EST, but the charge has now officially posted as 9/30 and my rewards show the 5% bonus. Hope anyone else who did this on the last day of the quarter got the 5%.

I used my Discover thru Apple Pay to buy a Target GC on 10/1, but still don't see the 5% bonus on my card. I made a few other purchases over the weekend using Apple Pay also and those haven't resulted in any bonus either. I hope it's just a delay in Discover's system.

Same here. Used Apple Pay but the %5 cashback page still says $0 this cycle. It also doesn't mention the "other cashback" that's for purchases that got 1%, so I guess that's good.

Can confirm here as well. Purchased 9/30. Ended up posting on that date as well. All is well
