Monoprice has been decent for me, never bought from them until a friend who had experience showed me successful orders and delivery's. Just bought some Cat 7 Ethernet cables and received them and they work fine.

The one thing that ticked me off though on a recent order, I payed for the Monoprice 1-2 day shipping and they shipped via Fedex home delivery which was more than 1-2 days.

I go either way on Monoprice. Lots of decent pro audio gear, cables, etc. Decent prices. Probably pick up some studio cables. But, their service can be very frustrating. Bought a bass from them about 4-5 years ago. They couldn't deliver, and it was a month long process to get them to acknowledge it was their fault, likely lifted at the warehouse, and get my money back. Pain in the a$$. But their interconnects are great. I bought a PA at a great price around 8-10 years ago. So, I think they are worth considering. Caveat emptor.

I have two monoprice guitars and bunch of cables and other random bullshit and my entire home theater it's wired with stuff from monoprice. I've been buying stuff from them for ten years with no problems. It's always ymmv but I wanted to chime in with my experience.

If you had no idea and need to look into it, you can't take advantage of it.

You need to have enrolled in that service, before the purchase in question.

Also I do not know for sure, but most likely new signups are not being offered, since that program is ending in late November.

I'm pretty much done with PayPal anyway. I was on the phone with them for over 40 minutes this morning over a $14 charge. I signed up for a $15 credit offer with Google Play. PayPal was supposed to credit my account but did not and kept me on the phone for over 40 minutes trying to figure out why I didn't qualify (and failed). I told them that spending over 40 minutes for $14 wasn't worth my time and ask them to take care of the problem and call me back but they refused, insisting that I should stay on the phone for as long as it takes. Used to be such a great company. I hung up and got an immediate refund from Google (a company that actually has real technology and understands customer service) after a minute of filling out a form. Not surprised to see several class action lawsuits against PayPal.

I wish more people had read my pessimistic post on the previous Google Play thread. This time around I didn't post it.

It's very hit or miss.

One thing you can do with PayPal is message them through the app. They treat chat messages like emails. They'll eventually come back to you, but I find it very easy to just tap away at my convenience, than ever getting on the phone.
