He isn't wrong. Why don't you try helping people out? What deals? Share some experience. You're just spouting out vague statements without any substance. If you're just here to troll then don't bother. If you're here to help, maybe try being helpful.
Snagged a white one a few months back for same price, put an Ikea Bekant table top on it. Definite win, super sturdy, have two work stations (two laptops
two monitors (WFH and personal), with KVM switch sharing one of the monitors) and couldn't be happier.
Don't need this but TU and repped for solid deal.
did the bekant top come with skews or you got yourself them if so what do I need to buy?

I heard that many people that own standing desks don't even use the standing function after the first month.
I don't want it for the standing feature. I just plan on using it to hold up my desk and move my Alex drawers out to the side so I can put my PC on the right one my printer on the left.

It really depends. I also user it to bring up the monitor if I am sharing my screen with a number of people in a room. it means everyone can see it. Standing is hit or miss. Some days it is just tiring and some days you might go the entire day standing and not realize it to the end of the day. I have one at home (Jarvis) and one in the office (standard configuration). I like them. As you get older and have circulation issues, they can be a life saver from having to sit all day.
How cool would it be if instead of dropping useless lazy opinions based on nothing whatsoever, you actually said something of interest that might be helpful 🙃
will this hold up a 72-in x 30-in x 1.5-in Butcher Block Acacia Countertop
its about 70 lbs
want to make a nice desktop for homeoffice.
Almost definitely - I have. 5' acacia butcher block on mine (bought from the deal in May). I stained my block 2-3 times and used a polyurethane coat and am quite happy with it.
I am interested in a drawer or tray, but otherwise I love this.

For the money and quality, this is absolutely "worth it." If you think you can do better for $200 for a base and about $100 for a butcher block for a motorized standing desk, feel free to provide another suggestion.
Or if you want to live life saying "your stupid" - "no, you are" -- please carry on.

Which kinds of flaws?
You keep peppering in these ominous statements of contempt, but you provide no viable evidence to back up your claims.
