Amazing headphones, just be prepared for the underside of the head band to start peeling from the oils in your hair/on your scalp.

If you plan long term use with these just buy a band protector as this user is right it peels pretty quick with heavy use

Agreed. These are absolutely fantastic. I've heard Ghost Reveries by Opeth through these and it is an absolute joy to hear the clarity. If someone is looking to get these, $109 is definitely a solid price

Had these a few years ago when people would rave about these. They were great for a little over a $100, the bass was good but did not last over a year and half. The cord would get stiff from sweat (didn't happen with other headphones/cords) then found the weak point is the swivel on the ear pads. Maybe I was rough but it broke and became un-useable. After that I searched for headphones without that weak point swivel. Got Superlux HD668B for $40 bucks. The weak point with those is the connection point where it dangles. Eventually cracked over time. Now I'm on Monoprice - 116150 for $27, no weak point swivel or dangling connection point. Been happy so far.

I don't notice too much bass from them. I have the 2012 edition so I'm not sure if it differs but I wanted to make people on the forum realize it's not "beats by dre" level of bass haha
