I can confirm this, I picked up this set, the circular saw posted yesterday and a ratchet impact driver on clearance for $59.

All these tools qualify for the buy more, save more deal, so that got me an additional $50 off $233 ($119+$55+$59).

And these sets also qualify for the 36V rebate.

The fine print for the "Buy more, save more" promotion says can't be used on sale items. I bought two of the reduced circular saws in store, and the promotion would not work.

They have to scan a barcode at checkout.

"IN-STORE - Cashier must scan "Buy More Save More" bar code at register to get offer".

She forgot on mine and I had to go to customer service who gave me the discount.

That's good. I'll try to get mine adjusted. According to the promotion details, pretty much anything besides full price items is excluded. I guess the system doesn't catch it though.

Not sure if it will help but you can print the flyer from metabo which gives you the model numbers and info :

Depends on two things, if you store has it on clearance for $59 and if your customer service will let you do a return/rebuy on the spot.

In true SD fashion, I would say $30 is worth a try.

Got 1 and 1 circular saw at South Nashua store with Lowes card for $147 no tax. I also wanted the wrench driver but they could not find the one in inventory. Thanks OP!

thanks op. I kept picking up the the hitachi hpt stuff on clearance before they rebranded to metabo. the 18v line of metabo hpt reminds me very much of my old Porter-Cable stuff I've abused since 2012. the pc had enough torque to warp its casing, and hitachi/metabo hpt even more torque but no case flex. the only area metabo hpt/hitachi 18v tools fall short is their 18v batteries do not have battery status indicator [like portercable] and that is obnoxious. anyways my Porter-Cable set's batteries were dying and at that point with the hitachi rebrand I got great price points to start fresh, and a ridiculous amount of batteries both 36/18 multi volt and plain 18volt.

with that said the 36v /18v multi volt batteries DO have battery indicators. I really like the tools themselves, I find an 18v circular saw for $55 that I'll be picking up because the 36v wormdrive doesn't/hasnt been filling all my needs due to shape/ size but it is a great tool like the rest. the 18v Circular saw had some short comings, the main thing being a plastic guard, and that's negligible.

one thing I am not happy about, at no fault to metabo/ hitachi is finding adapters to go from say 36v or 18v metabo hpt/hitachi to 36v x brand. I was really hoping to use batteries with other makes to put my battery stockpile to use but I didn't find any, at least for the multi volt, and that's probably because of the multi volt design. I'll have to make one when I get to it.

for those who can't follow context clues, OPs deals were clearance at some point and some stores happen to be clearancing later or still clearanced with poor shelf visibility or plain not on the shelf. I had to get most of my stuff off the overstock rack which was a hitach hpt graveyard that no one could find.

Metabo HPT is far superior to Ryobi, IMO. Ryobi is not trash and fills a niche very well, but Metabo HPT is a definite step up.

You found leftover item from the last year, it was discounted many times at that time. Good for you. This set was never restocked since then in my state
This is a different model than that, it's their newest combo
