This is an Amazon Exclusive brand, only sold through Amazon. Though there are a lot of similar brands of 14 and 18 inch dolls sold in a lot of places. Toys R Us (which is now a part of MACY'S) even has their own brand of 18 inch fashion dolls. Maybe those are the ones that you saw.

Or maybe you should LOOK before claiming I'm mistaken. They are the Journey Girls dolls in the link.

Amazon has a few exclusive Journey Girls doll designs but they aren't any of the clearance ones.
