Note on this: the 20% trade-in discount doesn't work on the Kids Paperwhite but does work on the non-Kids Paperwhite

Yeah, I had a pre-order for the New Kids Kindle 2022, but it was coming out on the same day as October Prime Days. So I cancelled figuring I could wait and see if there was a better deal from that. But I half expected they wouldn't make a deal on the new unit to upset pre-orders. Well if I can get the Paperwhite for roughly the same likely price, for sure a better deal. I really want the soft lighting option, so that alone is worth a premium for me, and why not get it earlier?

I got the 2021 Paperwhite Kids Edition with 16GB for the extra $5. So $115 total.. similar to previous lows, not an extra special deal, but I missed the earlier ones.

Ok deal but Prime Days coming in about 2 weeks and will be better deals on all the Amazon and Kindle devices etc. Amazon does not price match themselves so you won't be able to get an adjustment either. Just a heads up. Unless you really need one right this minute I would hold tight.

I have been able to send epub books to my kindle. However they must be perfectly formated and error free or it just won't work.
